every time a parent asks her/him self:
is my child gifted? the answer is an unquestionable yes for many (if not all),
but as life goes on, what may come after that "yes", could be very confusing,
..., unless parents will know well enough what to do further;

described here below, are some of your: "first steps" as parents, towards
your toddlers, ..., teens, not theirs towards you, ... :) 

1. to really understand what your child is inclined to, means to be sensitive
    to her/his natural inclinations; are you?
2. once aware of your child's natural inclinations, be prepared to awaken 
    her/his interest even further; are you?
3. be up-to-date, to choose & sustain your child's other activities, over
    specific periods of time, to help her/his abilities develop, to enhance her/his
    natural inclinations even more; are you?
4. be continuously interested in your child's original thinking & potential;
    are you? 
5. be truly appreciative of your child's daily efforts & success; are you? 

if your answers are: yes, only then expect your child to become talented;
many children (if not all) cannot become talented without first being gifted.

our geometrical thinking & intelligence? an all sports issue

our geometrical thinking & intelligence

be it soccer or skating, volleyball or tennis..., the players / competitors are
paying more and more attn., to their own trajectory (& that of the ball as well),
but also they became more self-helping, to anticipate & assess their next
moves & / or body postures, while on track  / playing field...

most of us wish we could improve certain things about ourselves, but lasting
change is difficult though...

ex.:
- disambiguation of "Rubik's cube" in terms of geometrical thinking:
   matching colors on each face of a cube, using successive rotations (3-dimensional).
being given this ex., yes, be prepared to find out more about yourself:
people focused very  much on the toy itself (the best sold ever, etc.) only to miss
the simple disambiguation made above; this is why you did not know how you could
use such toys, to assess & progress yourself.
what one simply has to do, is to add the time (variable) until the cube is solved, or just
one face (for fresh starters); having in mind these successive: time values  / one face,
you will find out how you're doing in terms of geometrical thinking & intelligence,
memory even, etc. & "at the end of the day"  not only / play session...

our dynamical thinking & memory? new approach - an all sports issue.

"... dynamical thinking & memory" are the 5th, respectively 6th, new concepts, introduced
as intended & written (2/7/13)
(o.d.t.&m. - conceptual approach through cross disciplinary knowledge)

written in recognition of:
- Michael Schumacher's extraordinary chance, following his ski accident
  (today he got out of hospital in Grenoble).
- all his doctors' efforts.

(do not google search it, you won't find it, :) it is a new approach  :)
everybody has heard of lateral thinking, how about analytical  thinking? yes certainly!
but what about our dynamical thinking & / or dynamical memory?

as new concepts we have the intent to introduce here, what everybody already may have
experienced many times, but never thought to define as such.

(exemplification for skating)
while we skate, did we ever give a thought to our:
- body dynamics?
  if yes, we would like to call it from now on, our dynamical thinking ..
mentally ready to race on that track? ..gone trough some (or all) of our (track related):
- memories of movements & / or postures?
  if yes, we would like to call it from now on, our dynamical memory...

so, the question mark here:
how were Michael Schumacher's priorly acquired
- dynamical thinking,
- dynamical memory,
effectively affecting his descent, while skiing on that slope, the day he had the accident?

depleted foods nutritionalwise? not so much a "must taste":)

not so much a "must taste", for the members of our "club"? yes, we think so...

(yes, this post is:
 - written very much "pour l'amour de gout" :), not as a recipes' valuation report, but
    just to help you take more into consideration, how & why foods could be so easily
    depleted nutritionalwise..., some becoming even hazardous to your health...
 - not referring to foods depleted in saturated fats, refined sugars,... these foods are
    actually beneficial to your health,
 - not in any way critic, about recipes in the cooking recipes' books
 - in conjunction with: "good faith in good taste.", 10/25/13 :)
ex.:
- stewed beef without "finding" that "taste hint" of the added celery...?
- are some stews really "destroyers" of taste &/or textures &/or flavours &/or
   ingredients' nutritional values (& not only)...?
- how come you're losing so much time cooking, and some of the flavours
   in your well prepared recipe, are beyond recognition?

depleted foods nutritionalwise are those, more or less, left without their:
specific taste &/or textures &/or flavours &/or ingredients' nutritional values (& not only)...,
by those who prepare them & us even...:( &/or inadequate storage.
certainly, here the approach had to be shortened for obvious reasons;
any inquiry (should you have any) would be answered by e-mail, and/or feel free to
leave a comment...:)

so, here's "what's cooking":
debating:
a. soluble dietary fibers vs. insoluble dietary fibers,
ex.:
 - are your "spicy treats" too usual by far? :)
    then, insoluble dietary fibers (wheat & corn bran, some veggies) should prevail, over soluble
    ones (oat & barley bran, some dried beans & peas..), because otherwise, the soluble ones
    being much "stickier", spicy might eventually mean bowel inflammation.
    (malabsortion due to an inflamated bowel, could have the same effect, as that of an intake
    of nutritionalwise depleted foods)

b. wheat bran & corn bran (insoluble) vs. dark leafy green veggies (insoluble)
ex.:
 - human consumption of chlorophyll? ... why drinking it from a bottle? :)
    could one, for the same necessary daily intake of insoluble dietary fibers,
    successfully replace wheat bran, or corn bran..., with those dark leafy green veggies?
    certainly yes! :)

emulation electronicwise. (new approach)

:), don't google search it, you won't find it (at least yet :) ), it is a new approach (the
    original one).

ex.:
1. teens' education in the actual informational society, has become more
    and more demanding, for families all over...
    accessing content via internet has never been so easy; are teens or their
    parents really aware, what powerful tools their phones and/or computers
    became?
    how could a parent alleviate her/his teen's rather unexpected shock, when
    accessing inappropriate content, via the internet?
2. how could a transnational employer, find ways to foster new ideas
    among its employees?
   
could the answer be the same, emulation electronicwise?
sometimes it already is :) (be advised:, this is a "double-edged sword", meaning:
you'll have to be quite competent, to use it wisely enough...)
how come: "it already is", but could not be found as such
(emulation electronicwise), when searched for, over the internet? :)

... transnational employer?

intertwining: optimal musculoskeletal response & positive state of mind =
outstanding productivity for any individual.

as a global employer, being responsible for your already existent
employees as well, how would you perceive:
- brainstorming (b.s.),
- braindraining (b.d.),
- brainwasting (b.w.),
was there a chance, that whithin your organization, any of the above might have
occured at least once, even if not acknowledged, by you &/or your
employees, as such?

the musculoskeletal response. (1 year of skate1st - 1/30/14)

this post is special, it marks one year in dedication to each
and every of you, dear visitor and/or reader!

the musculoskeletal response, is written in respect to each and every
of you, who are thinking that a little bit more sport, regularly done, would
help you live a better & healthy life.

applicability: here as everywhere else in this blog, reference is made only to
                    healthy people (trying to understand their own "whereabouts"
                    regarding their particular state of health & mind.)
                    certainly, some specific health problems could be solved using
                    the approach that is to be made here, if this might be the case, pls.
                    seek medical advice beforehand, at all times.
                   
therefore, we would only address people (normal musculoskeletal system) who
would be able to make adjustments (minor usually) to their lifestyle & physical
exercise (made daily or not), in order to "escape" successfully, from their daily routine,
which can sometimes lead to a bad musculoskeletal posture).
or tell you what to do if you already "acquired" such a posture, if it did not become
pathologic yet.

our aim here is: to help you maintain an optimal musculoskeletal posture at all
                         times, through childhood, adulthood, elderhood, so you would
                         have to experience, as less physical suffering as possible throughout
                         your life.

we would like to keep it simple, therefore not here, but in our next post:
"... transnational employer?" we would tackle the "real deal" :), meaning:
 intertwining: optimal musculoskeletal response & positive state of mind =
 outstanding productivity for any individual.

the method to apply, to prevent/correct a bad musculoskeletal posture, is simple:
you are expected to use the natural influence of your own body's musculature,
targeting specific muscle groups; (doing physical exercise and/or fitness routines
of a certain predefined kind, preferably on a daily basis).

the difficulty appears, when one doesn't know how to identify & interpret, her/his
own "musculoskeletal response", or even to foresee what kind of response could
it be, if her/his case is one of, for ex.:
a. prolonged office sitting,
b. extended high heels' wear.
...
if somebody acknowledges her/his own bad musculoskeletal posture, she/he does it
usually when pain appears; that is why we introduced here the
"musculoskeletal response"; one could discuss first about a
 musculoskelatal bad posture, but this bad posture (excepting hereditary or
congenital disorders) occurs, more or less exclusively, as a musculoskeletal response
to her/his daily routine (of a certain kind, or lack of it).

conclusion:
learn yourself how to identify & interpret & even foresee, your own
"musculoskeletal response" (daily even), because this undoubtedly already did &
will define your own musculoskeletal posture, and not vice versa.

physical exercise and/or fitness routines customisation, will be made only from case to
case, if requested by e-mail; (direct reference to personal trainers: will be strongly
advised.)
